The Marin Municipal Water District conducted a competitive RFP process to search for an experienced and dedicated tower operator who could replace MMWD’s current partner, optimize lease revenue, and create additional value at the site
The site is situated on a strategic mountaintop location, which hosts over 30 active telecommunications tenants including national wireless carriers, TV / radio broadcast stations, federal / state government agencies, and many other commercial tenants

Based on Everest’s proven ability to achieve additional financial, operational, and strategic value at similar mission-critical mountaintop communication tower sites across the country, MMWD chose to partner with Everest
MMWD entered into a long-term revenue share-based license agreement with Everest that included multiple contract extension opportunities for both parties
Since partnering with MMWD, Everest improved the physical condition of the facility, expanded leasing relationships with existing tenants, and provided an enhanced level of transparency and responsiveness to MMWD
