Mike Mackey

President

Mike is the President of Everest and responsible for all operations of the business.  Prior to co-founding Everest, Mike was a Principal with the private equity firm Peppertree Capital Management where he focused on domestic and international investment opportunities in communications infrastructure.  Previously, Mike was the Vice President of Acquisitions and Corporate Development for TriStar Investors, Inc.  Mike brings to Everest more than 10 years of leadership in both infrastructure investing and the growth of high performing asset origination platforms.

Matt Newton

CEO

Prior to co-founding Everest in 2015, Matt was the Vice Chairman of TriStar Investors, Inc., one of the largest and most successful acquirers of privately-held leased property in the wireless cell tower industry.  Matt was a member of TriStar’s Board of Directors from 2005 until the strategic sale of the business in 2014.  Prior to joining TriStar, Matt was a Partner with Columbia Capital, a private equity partnership based in Alexandria, Virginia focused on investments throughout the communications, media and technology industries.  Matt brings to Everest more than 20 years experience in the telecom infrastructure and private equity industries and has led private investments throughout his career that have realized returns of more than $5 billion.

John Lemmon

EVP and General Counsel

John is a seasoned executive and attorney with two decades of experience representing clients in complex transactions and strategic M&A.  Prior to co-founding Everest, John most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel of TriStar Investors, Inc.  He was responsible for crafting and implementing TriStar’s legal strategies, policies and procedures, guiding TriStar through tremendous growth and ultimate sale.  Before joining TriStar in 2005, John served as counsel to several of the nation’s largest corporations in commercial and real estate matters.  John is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Maureen Doyle

Vice President of Finance and Controller
Maureen has more than ten years of experience in corporate accounting and finance. Before joining Everest, she held the position of Corporate Controller at TriStar Investors, Inc. for over eight years. Maureen was responsible for all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, coordination with outside audit and tax accountants, site operations, and human resources. Maureen also spent several years as an auditor with a large regional public accounting firm in Pittsburgh, where she earned her CPA license.

Chris Davis

President, U.S. Towers
Chris brings to Everest more than 20 years of wireless infrastructure industry experience after beginning his career in real estate finance and accounting. Prior to joining Everest, Chris was the Founder and CEO of Varsity Wireless, a leading tower developer throughout the New England region. Previously, Chris was a pioneer in the development of distributed antenna system (“DAS”) infrastructure for wireless carriers – operating one of the first true neutral host DAS at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, as well as landmark installations at Wynn Las Vegas and Boston’s subway system. Chris was also President of LCC International’s tower unit, Microcell Management, Inc., where he oversaw the development, management and ultimate sale of 196 communications facilities to Pinnacle Towers. Before making wireless infrastructure the focus of his career, Chris held senior finance and accounting positions with J. E. Roberts Companies (a Goldman Sachs venture) and Ernst and Young’s real estate group (Kenneth Leventhal & Co.), where he earned his CPA. Chris has a degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire and lives in Boston, Massachusetts.

Michael Ashley Culbert

Vice President, Site Development
Ms. Culbert is Vice President, Site Development for Everest and leads all aspects of new tower development and tenant colocation activities. Michael’s development responsibilities include all activities surrounding the perfection of Everest’s assets including review of underwriting documentation and regulatory materials as well as implementation of quality control procedures and document management systems. She tracks and manages site development milestone completion, project financial obligations and close out documentation and procedures. Prior to joining Everest, Michael was Site Development Manager for Varsity Wireless where she managed new tower development activities throughout Varsity’s portfolio of sites in New England. Michael has performed development and deployment services to both carriers and their vendors for more than 20 years. She has been providing leadership and project oversight for wireless programs since 1998 including cell site hardening, modifications, new site builds, phase 1 roll outs and consolidations. Prior to her entry into wireless, Ms. Culbert spent more than 13 years in a paralegal role supporting law firms focused on corporate and commercial real estate transactions. Michael is an avid golfer and lives on the Seacoast in New Hampshire.

James P. Donahue

Vice President, Tower Operations
Jim comes to Everest with over 20 years of wireless industry experience, including leadership roles at Bell Atlantic Mobile (Verizon) and Crown Castle. At Bell Atlantic, Jim successfully led their New England Network Site Acquisition and Construction activities before assuming a Director role at their Corporate Headquarters managing their Regulatory and Network Contract groups. In 1999, he was appointed Vice President & General Manager – New England of the Crown Castle/Bell Atlantic Mobile joint venture formed as part of the sale/lease back of BAM’s tower assets. As VP/GM, Jim was responsible for the initial staffing and start-up of the organization, all sales, P&L management, development and construction of new tower assets and ongoing site operations. Most recently, Jim led new tower construction and development efforts for Varsity Wireless. Jim is a graduate of the University of Vermont (BSME) and Babson College (MBA). He and his family live in Hopkinton, MA.

Dominic Nardone

Vice President, Business Development

Dom heads Everest’s acquisition platform and oversees all aspects of real estate and infrastructure investing.  He leads Everest’s acquisition team, where he is responsible for each stage of deal flow from sourcing to close.  Dom comes to Everest with an advanced background in acquisitions and finance.  Prior to joining Everest, Dom served as the Director of Acquisitions and Underwriting at TriStar Investors, where he was directly responsible for the financial modeling, valuation and underwriting of acquired assets, as well as facilitation of deal negotiation and due diligence procedures.  Previously, he has held positions involving integrated economic strategy, as well as audit and assurance services where he began his career.  Dom is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania.

Mark Uminski

Chief Technology Officer

Mark Uminski is a pioneer in the mobile communications industry with a career that spans nearly 40 years. Mark started his career in wireless in 1981 as Manager of RF Engineering at Compucon, an engineering and marketing consulting firm responsible for the design and deployment of the first cellular networks in the U.S. Mark went on to become Vice President of Engineering and VP/General Manager at McCaw Cellular where he was the first employee in the Mid-Atlantic Region, was ultimately responsible for the design, operation and maintenance of wireless networks throughout the U.S., and remained with McCaw through its sale to AT&T Wireless for $14 Billion in 1994. Following his experience with McCaw/AT&T Wireless, Mark was the Chief Technology Officer at Crown Castle International where he oversaw growth from 95 towers to over 10,000 towers, including the acquisition and integration of tower portfolios from Verizon, GTE, Bellsouth and Powertel. Subsequently, Mark was the CTO at TriStar Investors along with other senior employees of Everest. Mr. Uminski is also the Founder and Owner of Falcon Wireless Group, a consulting practice focusing on clients in the telecom sector. Mr. Uminski graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1980 with a BSEE, Cum Laude. He completed graduate level coursework in Electrical and RF Engineering at Southern Methodist University and George Washington University. Mr. Uminski currently resides with his family in Pittsburgh, PA.
